Nesta and the Longitude Prize have partnered with the Northern Ireland Science Park in Belfast and the Clinical Translational Research and Innovation Centre (C-TRIC) in Derry/Londonderry to hold two exciting events.
We want to inform and inspire Northern Ireland’s innovators and encourage them to get involved in developing new technologies that could help conserve antibiotics for future generations.
The first event will be held at C-TRIC from 12pm -2pm. The second event will be held at the Northern Ireland Science Park from 6pm-8pm.
The event will be hosted by Joanne Stuart OBE, the Director of Development at the Northern Ireland Science Park. Our speakers and panellists include:
This event is a unique opportunity to bring together some of Great Britain and Northern Ireland’s great entrepreneurial and scientific minds. We will discuss the technological barriers that must be overcome and the innovations that must be developed to help solve – what last year the public voted as the greatest scientific and technological challenge of our age – antibiotic resistance.
If you would like to come along, please email [email protected], stating which event you would like to attend– C–TRIC or NI Science Park.
Congratulations to the winners of the Longitude Prize on AMR, Sysmex Astrego!
