About the Event: The Royal College of Nursing and the Longitude Prize at Nesta Challenges are hosting a free one-day symposium with clinicians, nurses, health experts and professional bodies working in urinary tract infections (UTIs) in the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) together with international UTI diagnostic developers competing in the Longitude Prize. The symposium aims to build understanding of the type of point-of-care (POC) diagnostic tests required in the NHS and their clinical pathways. Test developers will present their innovations for discussion and evaluation by an expert panel and attendees.

Clinicians working on the frontline of the National Health Service (NHS) lay out the current clinical practice for urinary tract infections (UTIs) and the difficulties with diagnosis and treatment.

In this session, competitors in the Longitude Prize will present their innovations for discussion and evaluation by attendees and the panel.
