About the Team:

RizLab Health was co-founded by Dr. Mehdi Javanmard (PhD Stanford Engineering), an expert in diagnostic device development, and Dr. Shahriar Azizpour (PhD Stanford Finance) in late 2018 as a spin-off out of Dr. Javanmard’s lab in Rutgers University.

RizLab Health have developed the CytoTracker, the first lightweight and portable blood cell analyzer, which can instantly quantify white blood cells and the differentials. The device will be used for discrimination between viral and bacterial infections and quantifies the total white blood cell, neutrophil, and lymphocyte count using a drop of patient blood; providing the user with results from sample to answer within minutes.
